Student life
Dorianda Nyakam
is in charge of coordinating graduate student life through the management of the event planning committee, overseeing the AÉCSP subcommittees but also of representing the student community on Polytechnique boards.
The roles are:
Coordinating the Event Planning Committee
The event planning committee is a group of volunteers in charge of organizing wide-reaching events for the graduate student community at Polytechnique; the intenal business coordinator leads the event committee while ensuring the proper planning and running of events.
Representation for student life and well-being
Sitting on the Committee for Student Life (CVE), the BIPCV Life Environment Committee, the Health and Well-being Commitee, they represent and carry the voice of AÉCSP on student life challenges, some of which include the well-being of students.
Managing AÉCSP subcommittees
The subcommittees depending on AÉCSP are overseen by the internal business coordinator to keep track of their activies on a regular basis and provide support if needed.
Decision making
The internal business coordinator sits on the Coordination Committee and takes part in the decisions of the association.
