Request for sponsorship

Our sponsorship policy encourages various activities from extracurricular organisations at Polytechnique Montréal. Being aware that such projects require financial support, AÉCSP grants part of our budget yearly as sponsorships to support initiatives for the graduate student community. It is noteworthy to know that organisations outside Polytechnique are also allowed to ask for sponsorships. Some humanitarian projects led by students or activities from study departments at Polytechnique are also eligible.

How to request a sponsorship?

You only need to fill out the sponsorship request form and send it to tresorerie@aecsp.qc.ca.

Any sponsorship request should include the following information
- Name of the requesting organisation
- Full name and contact informationfor people in charge of the project (a phone number and/or email address will do)
- Sponsorship amount (either a requested amount of money or any other document deemed adequate by the executives).
- Project description
- Budget planning clearly highlighting which part the AÉCSP would be sponsoring
- Description of AÉCSP visibility during the event
- Estimated number of AÉCSP students benefiting from the activity
- Any other relevant information

What are the eligibility requirements?

To make sure your sponsorship request is processed, your application should meet the following conditions:
- All required information is provided
- Your request should be sent at least 15 working days before the planned date for the activity.
- Your request should be submitted in paper form at room C-419 or in digital form (email or .doc, .docx, .xls, xlsx, ou .pdf) to the following address : tresorerie@aecsp.qc.ca

How are requests evaluated?

Your request will be accepeted or denied based on the following criteria:
- The quality of the request as well as matching all the above requirements
- The soundness and relevance of the project (any discriminatory or immoral activities will be immediately denied)
- The number of AÉCSP members benefiting from the activity (for requests about organising events, a maximum or 10$ a member may be awarded with some exceptions). The Executive Committee remains the sole authority on awarding sponsorships.
- The budget planning and actual need for a sponsorship based on the resources of your organisation
- Sufficient AÉCSP visibility at the event

The AÉCSP Executive Committee will process your request as soon as possible. The AÉCSP will contact the organiser(s) to inform them about their decision.
