General Secretariat

The general secretariat is tasked with organizing all association meetings (set meeting dates, covoke participants, manage absences, handle meals, etc.) and managing the online tools and workspaces for the staff (Google Suite, Slack, archiving, etc.).
The roles are:
Manager
Through organizing the different kinds of meetings in the association, the general secretariat coordinates everyone on the team. He or she is also in charge of our online tools and workspaces. These actions help build a long-lasting association
Decision
Besides organizing all these assemblies, the secretary general is a de facto member of the Coordination Committee, the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of AÉCSP. They thus take part in every decision made by the association, whether short or long term, casual or exceptional.
Keeper of the rules
The general secretariat is responsible for the association to abide by all its rules and regulations. Keeping the rules lets the secretary gain extensive knowledge of the different aspects and positions adopted by the association but also of laws and norms in Québec.
Helping with the presidency
According to any skills and hobbies, the secretary general gives a hand with the presidency in handling some specific cases allowing for an even more global view of the association!
