My name is Wissem AHMED ZAID, and I’m a doctoral student in mathematics at Polytechnique. As a member of the student committee of the GERAD laboratory, founder of the OR at Africa initiative and administrator of the “Just Operations Research” page, I’m passionate about operations research and motivated to learn more about it. administrator of the “Just Operations Research” page, I’m passionate about operations research and motivated to get more involved in student life.

My diverse background, including varied academic and professional experiences, as well as my involvement in promoting operations research through academic platforms and collaborative initiatives, have enabled me to develop project management and communication skills. I believe these assets could bring a dynamic and constructive perspective to the AÉCSP Board of Directors.

For me, joining the AÉCSP Board represents a fantastic opportunity to actively contribute to the development of our student community by proposing innovative initiatives and working with a motivated team to create an environment conducive to the fulfillment of graduate students.
