Héloïse Thu Ping One

Hello, my name is Héloïse THU PING ONE, I am 22 years old, I come from France and I started in September a double degree in computer engineering at Polytechnique Montreal.

I like to discover new things, to walk, to stroll in the streets, I like to eat and taste all kinds of new flavors, I like to sing, I like to dance but especially I like to do new things and meet new people. I discovered the associative world 2 years ago when I entered Telecom SudParis, an engineering school in France. Very quickly, I got involved in many associations. I liked the opportunity that the associative world provides to test your limits, discover new skills and meet many different people. I have been treasurer of MiNET (the campus network association), vice-treasurer of the Arts Office, logistics manager of the Telecommunication Forum (which aims to organize a large-scale recruitment forum for students mainly in the digital field) as well as dance manager/costume manager of the musical comedy club.

I tested a variety of things that were completely different from each other and I simply loved everything I did. This is why I would like to get involved in the associative life of Polytechnique Montréal. First, to meet people, and to form a real cohesion with other students, but also to get involved in the development of events. The AECSP makes this possible. I am applying as an administrator to discover the association a little more at first. Indeed, from what I’ve seen and understood, it works very differently from anything I’ve experienced before.

This is why investing myself as an administrator would allow me on the one hand to have a better understanding of the association while leaving me the time to invest myself elsewhere and on the other hand to allow me to see if the association pleases me even if it means taking a more important position in the future. In general, I apply to help, meet people and especially enjoy my stay here!
