This fall, 4 students apply for positions at the AÉCSP.
Candidate for the Coordination Committee
To introduce myself briefly, I am a French student who arrived at Polytechnique as a double-degree student last year, in the fall of 2020. As soon as I arrived, I was interested in associative activities and in particular those of the AÉCSP, an interest that led me to the position of administrator last June. After four months in this position and with a better understanding of the association’s issues, I want to get more involved.
Since I have long been interested in economic and social issues, the position of coordinator of services and sustainable development makes particular sense to me. These two subjects are intrinsically linked to sustainable development in addition to environmental issues; and their link with the services offered at Polytechnique is direct (health services, food, etc.). The environment is also a subject that I feel concerned about and for which I have already identified avenues of work that inspire me strongly!
Candidates for the Administration Council
My name is Émilie Thibault, I am a doctoral student in chemical engineering in environmental design 🌲. On the professional side, I am in charge of TD for three courses, I work part-time at ABB in electrification ⚡️ (in financial data analysis), I have been a Polytechnique ambassador within the recruitment team for several years and I am a consultant for public relations 📨 of the Arbor Foundation. On the personal side, I am a great fan of sustainable development, I am part of bicycle clubs 🚴🏼♀️, I give conferences to promote and introduce people to engineering and I am passionate about reading and hiking 🧗🏽♀️. I like to keep busy, have new experiences and learn new skills! I am dynamic, enterprising and attentive! I hope to live up to the expectations for the position of Administrator and help move AECSP’s projects forward! 🤍
I am applying for the post of director and on this occasion I introduce myself to you. I am a French student from the Parisian suburbs. Arrived at the end of August in Montreal, I started a research master’s degree in energy engineering at Poly with a double degree with my studies at the Polytechnic (French) school. I run regularly and paint miniatures in my spare time.
I would like to represent you as an administrator on the AECSP board of directors to make decisions about associative life and ensure the smooth running of the association. I believe this is an important responsibility and I will be delighted to discuss with you the subjects that you would like to bring to the Board of Directors.
I expect many of you at the next vote and I hope to meet you at future associative events.
I am a driven student, open-minded globe-trotter and thorough software developer, I would be honoured to represent you all so that you can tackle your studies in the best conditions and move forward in all your projects with a serene mindset.Following my two years at a French engineering school, I am ready to become part of AÉCSP for the 2021 – 2022 mandate. Formerly in charge of breakfast operations at my students’ association, I would bring in organizational skills and warm interpersonal relations. Feel free to come and meet me anytime to get to know each other and let me know how I can help you.
