LaTeX is an essential for any graduate student; if you are not yet initiated, or feel like a good throwback before starting your redaction, or yet just to ask questions. Or if like me you have some knowledge of LaTeX but still feel like you could improve, you will be happy to hear that there are two workshops planned on 23rd and 24th of July. These free interactive sessions (in English) from 10h to 12h will allow you to improve your LaTeX skills in a calm and educational environment. The rooms are M-1120 for both days.
To signal your presence, please register here. Please bring your laptop.
The following subjects will be discussed and explained:
- Introduction: Why Latex?
- Basics of Latex: Text typesetting and basic commands
- Preamble construction
- Equation typesetting
If this session goes well, maybe the next workshops will be about how to write a paper that your director finds well written from the get-go (we all know how difficult that is)
